We Stayed at Disney’s Beach Club in a 2-Bedroom Villa Using DVC Points — Here’s Everything

Early December for a once-in-a-lifetime family reunion. A 2-bedroom villa at Disney’s Beach Club Resort where we re-united with our beloved family. And the best part? We paid a fraction of what Disney charges — all thanks to renting DVC points through David’s Vacation Club Rentals.

But the real drawcard? Stormalong Bay — the sprawling, sand-bottomed pool complex shared with the Yacht Club next door. It’s regularly voted the best resort pool at Walt Disney World, and after spending an afternoon there, I can confirm: the hype is 100% real.

Early December — The Best Time to Visit?

I cannot recommend early December at Walt Disney World highly enough. Here’s why:

• The Christmas decorations are up — every resort, every park is dressed for the season. Beach Club had a stunning gingerbread display in the lobby that my girls were obsessed with
• Crowds are manageable — it’s before the school holiday rush that hits mid-December
• EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is in full swing — the food booths, the Candlelight Processional, the atmosphere — it was absolutely magical
• The weather is perfect — warm and sunny, not the summer heat and humidity

Here’s the part that still makes me smile when I think about it.

A 2-bedroom villa at Disney’s Beach Club booked directly through Disney in early December can easily run $800–$1,100 per night. For a 5-night stay, that’s $4,000–$5,500.

Disney’s Beach Club is every bit as magical as people say. The location is unbeatable, Stormalong Bay is genuinely one of the most fun pool experiences I’ve ever had, and staying in a 2-bedroom villa with a full kitchen made the whole trip feel relaxed rather than exhausting.

And doing it through DVC point rentals? I’ll never book a Disney Deluxe resort any other way. If you’re considering it for your own family, I’d say: do it. The process is simpler than you think, the savings are real, and the experience is everything you’re hoping for.
